Building Your Spiritual Brand

I have worked in branding and marketing for over 18 years. I built the first WSM/Gaylord entertainment Opry Livestream. Worked with Dierks Bentley, Hawk Nelson, Charlie Daniels, Carrie Underwood, brands like Martha White, the Grand Ole Opry, Cracker Barrell and so many more. I built and started the Hebraic Roots Network, built the first website, built the Livestream, hired their staff, edited their videos, started Revive, built their brand when Google only had one search result for Hebraic Roots……. it was Eddie Chumney. I helped the Messianic Israel Alliance go from gaudy banners to a streamlined website, conferences, and publications. I helped Lion and Lamb Ministries go from PTZ cameras and a GeoCities website to 8 websites, growing International reach, and a Pastoral staff of 4. I know brands, I build brands, but if those brands don’t build God’s kingdom then they are all worthless and I am out.

Simply put, your brand is defined by others’ overall perception of you.

A successful brand has to be consistent in communication and experience, across every application:

· Environment (storefront or office)

· Print, signage, packaging

· Website & online advertising

· Content marketing & social media

· Sales & customer service

Now, brand building being simple? The truth is: it doesn’t happen overnight…or even in a few months.

Building a brand is definitely a process. However, the ongoing effort will result in establishing long-term relationships with the entity you’re intending too.

1-    Determine your target audience

2-     Define your mission statement

3-    Research other brands in your industry (create a spreadsheet with goods and bads)

4-    Outline the qualities & benefits your brand will offer

5-    Create a visual logo and tagline

6-    Form your brand voice (professionalism, family oriented, conversational, informative, authoritative

7-    Build your message and your pitch

8-    Let your brand personality shine

9-    Integrate your brand into every aspect of you

10- Stay true to your brand building and calling (The Starbucks mission? “To inspire and nurture the human spirit – one person, one cup and one neighborhood at a time.”

11-  Be your brands biggest advocate

1Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. 2And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

Your Brand Should-

And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For we do not preach ourselves but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your bond-servants for Jesus' sake.

"For so the Lord has commanded us, 'I HAVE PLACED YOU AS A LIGHT FOR THE GENTILES, THAT YOU MAY BRING SALVATION TO THE END OF THE EARTH.'"

 

What does your Spiritual brand say about you?  If it doesn’t say that you are bought and paid for by Yeshua then your Spiritual brand is worthless.
